The Global Harmony: Uniting Tibetan Bowls and African Drums in "Rhythms of Restoration"
"Rhythms of Restoration" is a project dedicated to the idea of global harmony through sound. We sought to blend two powerful, ancient healing traditions into a single, cohesive track that offers both serenity and vital energy.
The track is structured around a World Fusion concept. The Tibetan bowls provide the high-frequency, resonant tones known for cleansing and meditative calm, while the African drums supply the deep, grounding, and vital pulse of rhythm. Layering these instruments over ambient Western textures ensures the piece feels accessible and modern, yet deeply rooted in tradition.
The result is a composition that is both serene and vibrant—a musical ceremony designed to assist in healing and restoring internal balance. We hope that as you listen, you find your own personal rhythm of restoration.
Starship Yoga is the quintessential Hawaiian yoga studio. The adorable studio offers a delicious amalgamation of classes, including the iconic Rocket Yoga, invented by Larry Schultz, AKA the Grateful Dead’s personal yoga teacher. The style is a series of postures that utilizes that meditative flow-style of Ashtanga at a faster pace. Starship shares Larry’s philosophy, and are dedicated to making yoga as spiritual as an experience as it is physical. Go inward, get deep, and move your body.
